This project focuses on designing control systems for an autonomous racing car operating on the Monaco circuit. The study develops a Phase-Lead Controller to improve steering stability and a PID Controller to regulate vehicle speed under varying driving conditions. MATLAB simulations were used to analyse system performance, optimise controller parameters, and ensure the vehicle maintains stability, accurate steering response, and desired speed while cornering and accelerating on the track
